About the Product

Can it be used while charging?

  • With pass-through functionality, the portable power source can be used while charging. However, it's not recommended to continuously use it while discharging and charging simultaneously as it may shorten the battery lifespan. ※ The same applies when using it with solar panels.

What are the methods for charging the portable power source?

  • Charging is possible through three methods: the included AC adapter (household electrical outlet), the cigarette lighter socket, and compatible solar panels

Is it okay to keep the AC adapter connected at all times?

The portable power source automatically starts charging when it detects input, so it's possible to use it while the adapter is constantly connected. However, this practice may shorten the battery's lifespan and pose risks of unforeseen accidents. To ensure prolonged comfortable usage, refrain from leaving it fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods. Once charging is complete, please disconnect the AC adapter.

Is maintenance required?

  • The natural discharge rate is typically a few percent per month. This rate may vary depending on storage conditions and temperature, so we recommend recharging every 2 to 3 months. Before regular charging, it's advisable to discharge the battery to a certain extent (around 50% is recommended) before recharging.

Can the accessory socket be used for cigarette lighters?

  • Since it's not designed to withstand high temperatures, it cannot be used for cigarette lighters.

Does charging automatically stop?

  • There is a feature that automatically stops charging when it reaches full charge. Charging will stop approximately 1 hour after reaching 100% display. However, if even a small amount of battery is consumed, it will start charging again, which may cause battery degradation. To ensure prolonged comfortable usage, refrain from leaving it fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.

Can [Product Name] be used?

  • Please check the power consumption of your electrical appliance. For devices with plug shapes for 100V household appliances, you can use up to 500W. Devices that draw power from the cigarette lighter socket can be used up to 12V and 120W, and for USB devices, up to 18W. However, for motor-driven devices such as fans and refrigerators, there can be a significant difference between rated current and startup current. Even if the rated power is below 500W, devices that exceed the upper limit of our portable power source during startup cannot be used. Please refer to the user manual of your device for further information.

Portable Power Source / Specifications

Is it waterproof?

  • It is not waterproof. Please refrain from using it in places where it may come into contact with water or in areas with high humidity.

Does it automatically power off?

  • If there is no output (from the portable power source to other devices), it will automatically power off after 12 hours.
  • If there is no input (charging the portable power source itself), it will automatically power off after 24 hours.

What is pass-through functionality?

  • Pass-through functionality allows for both charging and output simultaneously. All output ports of our portable power source support pass-through functionality. To prevent battery degradation, refrain from constant use of pass-through functionality

Does it have an MPPT controller built-in?

  • Yes, it is built-in. It can handle input voltages up to 24V.

Please let me know the shape of the charging cable.

  • The charging port (input terminal) on the device is a DC jack with an outer diameter of 55mm and an inner diameter of 25mm.

  • The accessories include an MC4 cable and a cigarette plug.

Is the AC output waveform a sine wave?

  • We utilize the same waveform as household electrical outlets, known as "pure sine wave," so PC AC adapters can be used without any issues. Since the portable power source converts direct current to alternating current using an inverter circuit, it may not always provide a stable and accurate waveform, frequency, and voltage. Please refrain from using it with devices that require all these conditions. Moreover, never use it with critical equipment such as medical devices that are crucial for life.

Is the DC12V output fixed at 12V?

  • The voltage fluctuates between 9V and 12.6V, depending on the battery level, adhering to the standard of automotive electrical systems in the United States. This variability may render it incompatible with certain connected devices.

There may be a slight gap between the AC adapter.

  • There is a small gap as per specifications. Rest assured, it is perfectly usable without any issues.

Solar Panels and Charging

What kind of solar panel should I use?

  • Regarding solar panels, if the output is between 12V and 24V, it can be used for charging the portable power source. Additionally, the connection wiring includes three types: DC jack Φ5.5×2.5, MC4 cable, and cigarette socket output. While it should work if specifications match, we haven't tested compatibility with other manufacturers' products, so we can't guarantee its operation. We have detailed specifications of our portable power source on the product page. To ensure compatibility, please inquire with each manufacturer if the solar panel you are considering can be used in conjunction with it.

Will it automatically charge when connected to the AC adapter or solar panel?

  • Yes, it will automatically start charging.
  • It has a feature that automatically stops charging when it reaches full charge.
  • Charging will stop approximately 1 hour after reaching 100% display.
  • However, if even a small amount of battery is consumed, it will start charging again, which may cause battery degradation.
  • To ensure prolonged comfortable usage, refrain from leaving it fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.

Is it okay to keep the solar panel connected at all times?

  • The portable power source automatically starts charging when it detects input, so it's possible to keep it connected at all times. However, leaving it connected continuously is not recommended as it may shorten the battery lifespan and pose risks of unforeseen accidents.

Is it waterproof?

  • The solar panel is not waterproof. Please avoid using it in places where it may come into contact with water.

Is it malfunctioning if it doesn't provide power?

  • The solar panel generates power by receiving sunlight. It may not generate power depending on the weather and the angle with the sun.
  • Adjust the angle with the sun and reconnect it to the portable power source.

Can it charge car batteries or other storage batteries?

  • This product does not have charge control functionality. When connected to car batteries or other storage batteries for power supply or charging, there is a risk of battery damage due to overcurrent, etc.

Other questions about the product

Unable to charge via the cigarette lighter socket.

  • Charging from the cigarette lighter socket of a 12V car to the [Product Name] body is limited to around 80% according to specifications. For full charging, please use the included AC adapter.

Unable to charge via the solar panel (Verification of Voltage).

  • If the output of the solar panel is between 12V and 24V, it can be used to charge the portable power source. While it should work if specifications match, we haven't tested compatibility with other manufacturers' products, so we can't guarantee its operation. Please check if charging is possible using the included AC adapter.

Unable to charge via the solar panel (Confirming Usage Environment).

  • Please check the polarity of the output cable of the solar panel. The input for our product is center positive. Also, if there are shadows or if sunlight is not hitting the solar panel properly, it may not generate enough power, and charging may not be possible even when connected. Please check if charging is possible using the included AC adapter.

Unable to charge the portable power source with the AC adapter.

  • When the internal temperature rises to 65 degrees Celsius due to direct sunlight, a sealed car interior, or continuous high-power output, the protection circuit will activate, preventing charging and discharging. Please turn off the power once. Leave it in a cool environment for about 1 hour, then try charging again from the power-off state.

  • If the above usage conditions do not apply, or if the device does not automatically turn on when the charging plug is connected from the power-off state, or if the battery icon is not animated, there may be a risk of poor contact or a malfunction in the device. In such cases, please contact us.

The AC adapter for the portable power source has become hot.

  • The AC adapter may become warm during use, but this is not indicative of a malfunction. Please avoid using it near heat-sensitive objects or near flammable materials.

The indicators for each output are blinking, and I can't use them.

  • If the indicators for each output are blinking, it means that the protection circuit of the portable power source has been activated, and the output has been stopped. Please turn off the power once and then turn it on again. If the indicators continue to blink, please leave the device in a cool and dark place for approximately 30 to 90 minutes and then try again. If the indicators continue to blink even after turning the power back on after a while, please contact us.

The temperature overheat warning is displayed, and I can't use it.

  • If the temperature overheat warning is displayed, please stop using it. The warning will disappear once the temperature of the device decreases, and then the output will be available again.
