1. Remove the original spare tire
The first thing you’ll need to do is purchase a Jeep wrangler spare tire light. You can find these at SUPAREE. Make sure that you’re getting the right one for your vehicle model, as there are several different sizes and types available. Once you have the light, you’ll need to remove the spare tire from your Jeep. This process will vary depending on the model, but generally, you’ll need to remove the spare tire mounting bracket and then remove the spare tire itself.
2.Open the rear cargo door
To remove the factory 3rd brake light from the rear cargo door of your vehicle, you will need to open the door and locate the four screws that are holding the light in place. Plug the factory 3rd brake light in to the brake light ring harness,Plug the brake light ring into the factory harness
6. Reinstall back
Reinstall back the plastic shell of the high brake light and the spare tire. The installation is complete.
